The MindWave Mobile Brainwave Starter Kit is the first professional EEG headset for home and mobile use. With NeuroSky’s low-cost MindWave Mobile headset and our neurofeedback training software, you are able to build up your ability to concentrate, focus and relax. The headset’s sensor measures the brain’s electrical activity and transfers the data readout via Bluetooth to a computer, smartphone, tablet or laptop. The MindWave Mobile is suited for iOS as well as android devices. The high quality and reliability of the brainwave signal is based on a TGAM chipset – the biosensor chip that revolutionized the industry. It is your perfect introduction to the world of brain-computer-interfaces (BCI).

There are already dozens of trainings apps available in our app store. The Brainwave Starter Kit includes Brainwave Visualizer and the MindWave Mobile Tutorial – everything you need to enter the exciting world of EEG technology. It also includes a trial version of the home-of-attention training software.

Function

The MindWave Mobile is the world’s first EEG headset that can be used with Mac and PCs as well as all Apple iOS and Android platforms (smartphones, tablets etc.). NeuroSky’s MindWave Mobile can therefore be used at home and on the road.

It features sensors on the forehead and at the earlobe to measure EEG data (-> electrical activity of the brain). All required software can be installed directly to a PC, laptop, smartphone or tablet. The MindWave Mobile transmits EEG data via a Bluetooth (instead of WiFi used for the MindWave) interface to the user’s device. It safely measures brainwave signals and monitors the attention and relaxation levels while interacting with the different exercises and games.

NeuroSky’s MindWave Mobile comes in two different packages, the MindWave Mobile Brainwave Starter Kit and the Myndplay Edition. Both editions differ in respect to the additional software included. The Brainwave Starter Kit is especially designed for users who are new to the world of neurofeedback and features three apps. The Myndplay edition features an additional software movie player that allows the user to influence the outcome of a movie by focusing or relaxing in key moments. It includes six additional apps.
